About Me

A 30 something lesbian coffee drinker from London attempting to record and share our ttc journey. Hobbies and activities - dining out with The Wife, increasing our carbon footprint, napping, over sharing on Facebook, hunting for decent second hand book shops, pretending to knit.

...beta is 739. So it *has* been doubling. Back for another test (or blood draw as the Americans say!) on Wed. Hopefully after Wed we should be able to see something on a scan - according to the EPU it needs to be over 1000.

Symptoms update:

Itchy skin (just like last pregnancy)
Lower back pain
Nauseous, esp in the evening
On/off AF cramps
Peeing ALOT
Vivid dreams
Sharp tongue *gulp*

The Wife has been working from home a lot recently to attend scans/blood tests but sadly she can't attend Wed's appointment. She has an extremely important meeting which I have been helping her prepare for all weekend...fingers crossed it all goes off without a hitch. I can tell how mentally exhausted she is with work, supporting me through a mc, a second cycle, Father dying. She has given everything she has and I don't think I've ever felt so loved. No matter what 2013 throws at us, we will continue to bounce back.

  1. Yay! Congrats... and stop reading about the beta numbers lol! Every person and every pregnancy is different. Sometimes beta's come back a little low and the pregnancy develops just fine ;)! Hang in there, I wish you the best!

  2. Yay! Have been wondering how things went. Glad to hear the numbers are doubling and doing what they're suppose to :).

  3. This is awesome! So glad things have picked up! Hope all goes well for the wifey at work! :)

  4. Yay, glad the numbers are doubling! Hope you get to see something soon.
